Chapter II
The chapter of the PCT, that regulates, the optional international preliminary examination procedure, and provides for the communication of the international preliminary examination report and certain related documents to elected Offices. A demand may be filed by the applicant to enter Chapter II. If no demand is filed the application remains in Chapter I.
