Industrial applicability
One of the criteria of patentability also referred to as "utility". For the purposes of written opinions of the International Searching Authority and international preliminary reports on patentability (Chapter II of the PCT), and/or international preliminary examination reports, a claimed invention is considered industrially applicable if it can be made or used in any kind of industry, understood in its broadest sense.
