Where the effect of the international application has ceased because the applicant failed to perform the acts to enter the national phase within the applicable time limit, a designated or elected Office may reinstate the rights of the applicant with respect to that international application. In addition, reinstatement of rights may apply to excuse delays in meeting any time limit.
